Stars & Stripes
Your party of (2) will enjoy a hands-on 150-minute (2+ hours) experience on Dennis Conner’s famous America’s Cup yacht “Stars & Stripes”. Each of up to (20) total participants will get to play a role as crew while you race this 80-foot yacht around the sheltered waters of San Diego Bay. This is not a guided sight-seeing tour but an interactive sailing thrill. On busy days you’ll get to race against another America’s Cup yacht giving you the ‘ultimate’ sailing experience. A sail on “Stars & Stripes” is itself a once-in-a-lifetime treat. Although subject to availability, reservations will make every effort to schedule you for a date when both yachts will race. Must be at least five years of age.
Hyatt Regency Mission Bay Spa & Marina
Enjoy a four-night stay at this 4-star bay front property. As the closest hotel to SeaWorld and the only high-rise on Mission Bay, its guest rooms enjoy the best views around, unparalleled sweeps of the bay and ocean. This family-friendly San Diego hotel is perfectly situated to explore Balboa Park, Lego Land, Gaslamp Quarter and the beautiful beaches. The big pool is shaped like the state of California, set in a spacious, sunny deck next to a free-form whirlpool large enough for 16 guests at a time. Traditional palm-topped palapas give the pool area a convincing tropical look. The 24-hour marina-view fitness center is well-equipped for all. Gaze at the gorgeous vistas of the Pacific Ocean and Mission Bay surrounding the resort hotel as you stroll along the boardwalk. Relax on lounge chairs overlooking the marina, where inviting boats await your arrival.
American Airlines
This package includes round-trip coach class service for (2) from any American Airlines destination in the 48 contiguous United States or Canada to anywhere American Airlines flies in the 48 contiguous United States or Canada, subject to availability. A minimum of three nights or a Saturday night stay is required. AAdvantage miles may be earned in accordance with the terms and conditions of the AAdvantage frequent flyer program. Miles cannot be utilized to upgrade these coach class certificates to a higher level of service. The following blackout dates apply::
2012: Jan 1-2; Feb 17-20; Mar 9-12, 16-18, 23-25; Apr 6-9; May 25-28; Jun 29-Jul 1, Jul 6-8; Nov 16-21, 24-26; Dec 21-24, Dec 28, 2012-Jan 2, 2013.
Airfare certificates will have a one-year expiration from the date of purchase. Any airport departure taxes, fees or fuel surcharges (if charged) are the responsibility of the purchaser.
Additional Information
Must be booked a minimum of 60 days in advance. Reservations are subject to availability. Certificates cannot be replaced if lost, stolen or destroyed. All purchases are non-refundable. Packages cannot be resold. Suggested retail value is calculated using tariff air rates and rack room rates. Ground transportation is not included unless where specified.
