How much does a JumpStart package cost my organization?

“Your Price” is listed in ReadySetAuction’s JumpStart Directory alongside each JumpStart package and reflects the most up-to-date price available to ReadySetAuction from its partnering vendor. If a price has changed but has not yet been updated on the JumpStart site, the partnering vendor will notify you at the time you submit your reservation form. The partnering vendor will honor the price on the Letter of Agreement you sign with them.

How much money will our organization make?

The amount your organization makes from a JumpStart package depends on the winning bid. You will pay our partnering vendor the agreed upon cost. The difference between the winning bid amount and the cost of the package equals the amount you make.

How do I set the minimum bid for a JumpStart package?

The ReadySetAuction JumpStart Directory lists both your price as well as the suggested retail value for each JumpStart package. We suggest you set the starting bidding at least 10% above your price.

How many JumpStart packages can we sell?

There is no limit to the number of JumpStart packages you sell during your auction. In fact, you can sell the same package multiple times if you choose.

Where do I find the language for my printed and online catalogs?

We’ve made this easy for you!

When you submit a reservation for a JumpStart package, you will receive a confirmation email. Click the link in the email to access copy-and-paste instructions for adding your JumpStart package to your ReadySetAuction event site.

Where do I find the images for my online catalog?

We’ve made this easy for you too! The image URL for each package will be included in the copy-and-paste instructions.

Are there restrictions and blackout dates?

Any restrictions and/or blackout dates are included with the package description in the JumpStart Directory. You must include these in your printed and/or online catalogs.

Is it necessary to reserve a JumpStart package?

Yes. It is absolutely necessary for you to reserve a JumpStart package prior to making it available during your auction.

How do I reserve a JumpStart package?

To reserve a JumpStart package, fill out and submit its Online Reservation Form which can be found at the bottom of its description in the JumpStart Directory. There is no limit to the number of JumpStart packages you sell during your auction. Simply submit a reservation for each package that interests you. A representative from our partnering vendor will contact you to confirm availability and pricing.

How far in advance can I reserve a JumpStart package?

As soon as you know that you would like to feature a JumpStart package during your auction, submit its Online Reservation Form. We strongly encourage you to submit your reservation at least 5 business days prior to your gala auction or 5 business days prior to posting the JumpStart package in your online auction.

When do I order my JumpStart packages?

As soon as you have collected payment from the winning bidder, submit your order directly to the partnering vendor, per your Letter of Agreement supplied by the partnering vendor. The partnering vendor will fulfill your order within 21 days.

How do I distribute travel vouchers to the winners?

It is your responsibility to distribute the travel vouchers to the winners. View this as a great relationship building opportunity.

Will ReadySetAuction charge its transaction fee on a JumpStart package?

If you are using the ReadySetAuction software services, then ReadySetAuction’s Auction Cashier transaction fee is calculated on the selling price of the JumpStart package and ReadySetAuction’s Online Bidding/Pre-Bidding transaction fee is calculated on the high online bid for the JumpStart package. We suggest you take this into account when setting the starting bid of each JumpStart package you offer.
